So I was pulling into my driveway when I got a phone call from Craig Nybo of the Gangrene Film Festival.  He tells me they got my submission (of Mom, Dad...I’m Cuban) and LOVED it! 

Soooo....In September they’re gonna put me up in a hotel for a couple nights way up in Layton, UT. Apparently they have a day of fun planned for the directors. How cool is that?  I’m going to introduce the video before it plays and conduct a Q&A afterward.  That’s exciting. 

My greatest hope is that they have really cool swag bags.  I could use some free pens.
